Find Workers Fluent in a Particular Language
When searching for workers to staff a precinct, early voting site, or election center, you can include one or more languages as search criteria. The language must be selected on the worker's Worker Maintenance dialog in order for the worker to appear in search results. (See Record a Worker's Language Ability for more information.)

- Go to ELECTION WORKERS > Make Work Assignments.
- On the Election Worker Assignment dialog, select the election and reference election. Click OK.
- In the Scheduling Election pane, click Search.
- On the Worker Flexible Search dialog, click Languages.
- On the Select Languages dialog, select the languages that you want to search for. If the language(s) you want are not displayed, enter them in the Other field, separating the entries by commas, and then clicking OK.
- Click Search.
- On the Search Results tab, Voter Focus displays a list of workers whose records show they speak at least one of the languages you specified. The results do not indicate which language(s), however. You must select the worker and view the General tab of the worker’s maintenance dialog to get this information.
The file created by the Export/Merge capability in Worker Flexible Search contains a Languages column that shows all languages you selected as search criteria when creating the file.

The Election Workers Working an Election report includes the languages for each worker.
The Language Coverage for Election report gives you the number of workers with non-English language capabilities at each location.
