Use this tabbed dialog to work through the voting-history and reconciliation process following an election. For an overview of this process, see How to Process Voting History Data.

Import Voting History

Import Tabulation Totals—If your county uses a tabulation system from ES&S Unity or Dominion GEMS the totals from the tabulation equipment can be imported into Voter Focus and will then appear in voting history reports. (See How to Import Tabulation Totals from ES&S Unity or How to Import Tabulation Totals from Dominion GEMS for instructions.)

Import Voting History—This feature is for counties using the an electronic pollbook other than the EViD system and who have VR Systems' Generic Electronic Poll Book Voting History Interface. It allows the county to bring voter check-in data from the pollbook system into Voter Focus via an input file.

Import Dominion/ICE Tabulation Totals—If your county uses a the Dominion ICE tabulation system, the totals from the tabulation equipment can be imported into Voter Focus and will then appear in voting history reports. (See How to Import Tabulation Totals from Dominion ICE for instructions.)

Reconciliation

This tab provides four reports to assist in reconciling voting records with tabulation data.

Voting History vs. Tabulation Results—Gives you the data needed to check the voting history entered into the system against your tabulation totals.

Report-Non Register Voting—Lists the voters whose voting history was obtained through non-register voting history entry.

Reports-Precinct Register Data Entry—Two reports that help you pinpoint errors in data entry of voting history.

Report-Possible Voting Irregularities—Identifies voters who might have voted twice (by mail and at the polls). Also lists voters who became ineligible to vote on or before the date of the election.

Update Voting History

Update Voting History—Once the voting history totals are reconciled with the tabulation totals, the next step is to run the Update Voting History Update program. See Run the Voting History Update Program for instructions on running this program and a list of all actions it performs.
