Election Day String in Search Results

For local voter matches, when there is an election in Active or Return status, the election-day string shows:

• the election name.
• the precinct register page where the voter's name can be found.
• the voter's ballot style.

NOTE: The election-day string matches what you’ll see in these Voter Focus applications: Phone Bank, Counter and Voters on the Maint tab's Election Day Display.

If multiple elections are in Active or Return status, they will all be listed in the election-day string.

If a precinct register hasn’t been generated yet, the election-day string might look like the example below. It shows that this voter is eligible to vote in the 2012 General Election and their ballot style.

The election string might show that the voter:

has an outstanding absentee ballot
has already voted early
has already voted by mail
is in a precinct that isn't voting in the election
