Create and Edit a Delivery Route

To create a new delivery route in your Voter Focus system:

1. Go to ELECTIONS > Place Maintenance.

2. On the Find Place dialog, select a place or click Cancel to dismiss the dialog. It isn't necessary to select a place to view and maintain delivery routes.

3. On the Place Maintenance dialog's toolbar, click Utilities > Delivery Routes. The Delivery Routes dialog appears with a list of the current routes in the left pane.

4. Click New. On the Enter New Delivery Route dialog, enter the name of the new delivery route. You can enter any special instructions for the route in the Route Info field.

5. Click OK. The new route is now displayed in the left pane of the Delivery Routes dialog.

From here you can assign stops to the route.

To change the name of the delivery route later:

1. Go to ELECTIONS > Place Maintenance > Utilities > Delivery Routes.

2. On the Delivery Routes dialog, highlight the route name in the left pane and click Maintain Delivery Route.

3. On the Maintain Delivery Route dialog, edit the name in the Route Name field.

4. Click OK and then click Save.
