Recalculate Petition Totals

This feature lets you recalculate totals when totals on the Petition Status Report do not match those on the List of Signatures. Totals can get out of sync when a large number of petitions is being verified.

To recalculate petition totals:

1. On the PETITIONS tab, verify that the petition is in focus. If not, change the focus to the correct petition.

2. Click Petition Maintenance > Utilities > Recalculate Petition Totals. A message appears at the bottom of the Petition Utilities dialog indicating that the process is in progress.

3. When the message says Complete, click Close.

4. On the Petition Maintenance dialog, click Reports and run the Petition Status Report and the List of Signatures to verify that the totals now match.
