ESS Touch Screen VR Totals Export

Note  This button appears only when the Tabulation System Vendor is set to 2,ES&S in VOTER FOCUS ADMIN > System Options > Prec Reg/Elctns.

Creates a text file showing the number of voters by precinct for the selected election, as reported by the ES&S tabulation system. See How to Run the ESS Touch Screen VR Totals Export for more information.

Export VoterLookup File

Exports voter data for the election to a database file used by the VoterLookup application.

Schedule Provisional Disposition Letters

Schedule letters to voters who voted provisionally advising them of the disposition of their ballot. After scheduling, the notices should be printed from the Notices Queue. See How to Schedule and Print Provisional Disposition Letters for instructions.

Schedule Letters for Changed Polling Places

Schedules the Notice of Temporary Polling Place Change (TempPollingPlace.doc) to voters affected by a polling-place override for an election. Directions to the temporary polling place are provided in the notice. After scheduling, the notices should be printed from the Notices Queue.

If you plan to have temporary polling places for a subsequent election, the notices produced for the first election should be printed before you print the notices for the second election.

Set Up Sample-Ballot Email

This utility lets you define the sender and message text for emails going to voters who requested sample ballots by email. See How to Email Sample Ballots to Voters for instructions on the sample-ballot-emailing process.

Export Electronic-Ballot Data

Extracts voter data for delivery to third-party organizations offering electronic balloting to certain groups of voters, such as persons who are qualified to receive UOCAVA A ballot requested by/delivered to a U.S. citizen who: (1) is a member of the uniformed services or the merchant marine who is deployed overseas or deployed domestically away from their county of residence, (2) is a dependent family member of a service member/merchant marine and is away from their home county due to military deployment, or (3) resides outside the United States. These voters may cast an FWAB and they are eligible to receive ballots by email or fax. In the Voter Focus system, UOCAVA is a flag applied to a vote-by-mail ballot, not to voters themselves, since a voter's UOCAVA status can vary from election to election. ballots.
