Change a Vote-By-Mail Voter's Residential Address

If a voter, while requesting a mail ballot, advises you of a change to their residential address:

  1. After recording the request, go to VOTER REGISTRATION > Voter Maintenance and access the voter's record.
  2. On the Maint tab, make the address change.
  3. Click Voter Response to open the Voter Response dialog.
  4. In the Communication Type field, select Absentee Ballot request/voter update. Click OK.
  5. Click to save the change to the voter's record. Voter Focus schedules printing of an updated voter information card in the Notices Queue. If you prefer to print the card now:
    • If the Voter Card program is not already running, go to PRINTING > Voter Card to start it.
    • Access the voter's record and click Printing.
    • On the Schedule Document Printing dialog, click Voter Card. The card prints and the scheduled print job is removed from the Notices Queue.
