Route FlexRep Output to the Website for Candidate Pickup

For counties that use VR Tower, certain output files created using FlexRep can be routed to the county’s website for pickup by candidates. The candidate must be set up in the Elections application with a user name and password as described in Give a Candidate Access to the Candidate File Distribution Services on Your Website.

The files that can be routed to candidates are:

• Text File without Voting History

• Text File with Voting History

In the Output Option box, counties using VR Tower will see the button Auto Send to Cand when the output option is either of these types.

Click this button to open the Candidate Selection dialog where you select the election and then the candidate to whom the report will be routed.

You will then be asked for a location where the output file can be saved. The Send Public Files program will post the file to the county’s website. This program runs automatically every two hours, but can be run manually if you don't want to wait for the next scheduled run.
