Candidate Files that Can Be Posted to Your Website
If your county has a VR Tower website, certain files can be automatically posted to the website for retrieval by candidates.
The files are placed in a secure area accessible only to the candidate via a login account created by the elections office. This login account must be set up prior to creating a candidate's files. See Give a Candidate Access to the Candidate File Distribution Service Your Website for instructions.
You can upload other files to candidates using the Candidate File Distribution Administration portal in VR Tower. For more information, see the VR Tower Help.

Mailing-label files for voters requesting mail ballots created from CANDIDATE SERVICES > Candidate Labels >Print Candidate Labels. These files must be saved in a folder on your network's I drive (other than \Vr6Sharedbinaries) so that the Send Public Files program, which copies the files to your website, can find them.
The names of the mailing label files should not be changed. Use the file names assigned by the Print Candidate Labels program; otherwise the file transfer might not occur.

The Get Out the Vote Report, if your county selected the Queue Files for Web option when running this EViD report. See How to Give a Candidate Access to the GOTV Report on Your Website for setup instructions.
Once they are created, these files are posted to the candidate area of the website by the Send Public Files program, which runs automatically every 5 minutes on your Voter Focus server. If you have just created a file and don't want to wait for the next scheduled run, you can post the files manually by running VOTER FOCUS ADMIN > Send Public Files on your server.
A PDF document in our User Community describes the layout of the various files, which could be helpful to candidates. The document is Using Data Files from the Supervisor of Elections.
