About
If you use the VR Tower Mail Ballot Request Service or Address Change Service on your website, the WebServicesJurisdictionClient is responsible for passing transactions from your website to the appropriate que in Voter Focus for processing. These program must be running for these web services to work properly.
Every 30 seconds, Voter Focus performs a check to verify that the program is running. If it is not, an alert appears on the VR Dashboard. You can set up email notifications to notify staff if this program fails as well.
If this program is not running, the error "Service Not Available" appears on your website when someone visits a webpage for these services. If you or voters see this error message on your website, or if an alert appears on the VR Dashboard, wait 30 seconds and then check again.
If the issue with WebServiceJurisdictionClient persists, see your Voter Focus Administrator. It may be that VRScheduler needs to be restarted.
