Absreqm Table

This is a key table for voting by mail. It summarizes the state of each vote-by-mail request in the system. It also contains data on early voting, including check-ins processed on EViDs.

The state of a request is controlled by the date columns. To test for a date being "on" make a selection like this:

{absreqm.Date_Abs_Ballot_Mailed} > Date (2015,01 ,01 )

If the ballot has been mailed to the voter, this will test true.

Because most of these dates are stored with the time as well as the date, testing for things on a particular day can be tricky. If you need to do this in Crystal Reports, the easiest way is to go to the File > Report Options menu and set the column Convert Date-Time Field to the value To Date.

When creating SQL queries and reports, remember to specify the election number.
