About District Types
The list of district types, such as COMM (County Commissioner district) is managed in VOTER FOCUS ADMIN > System Codes. You can add new district types, change the description of a district type, delete (county-created) district types, and generate a printable list of district types.
The standard district types listed below are provided by Voter Focus and should not be changed or deleted:

Voter Focus also has an internal district type—called ALL, County Wide —which must not be changed or deleted. The ALL district type is used for county-wide races in which all precincts will be voting.
When setting up district types in VOTER FOCUS ADMIN > System Codes, you have the following options:
- If a district type does not have party races, select Nonpartisan District.
- Select Covers Whole County if all voters in the county must be assigned to a district of this district type.
