Voter Certificate Program
Voter Certificate is a program that needs to be running on your workstation in order to print a single voter certificate directly from the voter's record. The following tasks must also be done to enable immediate printing of voter certificates:
- The option Immediate Printing of VC Permitted must be selected in VOTER FOCUS ADMIN > System Options > VC Options.
- The printer where certificates will print must be selected under View > Options in the Voter Certificate program. After viewing the printer, you must then click Restart Processing to unpause the program.
- The format of your voter certificates must be defined in the Document Maintenance. See Things to Do Before You Create a Voter Certificate Export File for instructions.

The Voter Certificate dialog displays the text Cards Waiting in the dialog's title area. The Cards Waiting message confirms that the Voter Certificate program is in the processing state and is ready to process printing. If instead the message is Cards Paused, you must click Restart Processing.
To print a voter certificate from the voter's record, see Print a Single Voter Certificate. If the Voter Certificate program is not running when you attempt to print the certificate from the voter's record, it will not print immediately; it will be scheduled in the Notices Queue and can be printed from there. The Voter Certificate program need not be running to print voter certificates from the Notices Queue, but it must be running to print certificates from a voter's record.
Some counties want a voter label to be printed along with each voter certificate. See Voter Label Program for more instructions on setting this up.
