The format of your voter information cards is defined in Document Maintenance. As you are probably aware, Florida law requires the following information on all voter information cards:
Voter's registration number | Address of legal residence |
Date of registration | Precinct number |
Full name | Polling place address, city, state and zip code |
Party affiliation | Name and contact information for the Supervisor |
Date of birth | Other information deemed necessary by the Supervisor |
You have the option of printing a trailer card at the end of the print run from the Notices Queue. The trailer card indicates the number of cards printed, the print date, and other information. To turn on this feature, select VOTER FOCUS ADMIN > System Options > Print Trailer Voter Card.
Sometimes you might want to print just one voter's card and you want to print it right away. This can be done from the voter's record provided that the Voter Card program is running and certain other settings are configured.
When you print from a voter's record, the card is scheduled in the Notices Queue, even though it prints immediately. After printing, it is removed from the Notices Queue. A record that the voter was sent a new voter information card is noted on the voter's Audit and Comms tabs.
See Print a Single Voter Card for instructions on printing a card from a voter's record.
Many counties outsource printing of their voter information cards to a commercial print house rather than printing the cards in house. For more information on this option, see Export a File of Voter Cards to a Commercial Printer.
Some counties want a voter label to be scheduled along with each voter information card. These labels are typically used for filing purposes or affixed to the backs of NVRA forms for internal county use. They are typically sent to a DYMO or other label printer.
If you want labels to print with voter information cards, select VOTER FOCUS ADMIN > System Options > County Uses Voter Labels. For immediate printing from a voter's record, see Print a Single Voter Label.
