Working with Voter Records

Voter records contain the essential components of each voter registration record:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Birth date
  • Driver's license number, Social Security Number, or identification number
  • Registration status

This information is shared between the local county database and the FVRS record. In addition to mirroring the basic voter data on FVRS, the voter registration record in Voter Focus (on the county database) contains a wealth of supplementary information, including:

  • Document images
  • An audit of changes to the record
  • Mail ballot information
  • The voter's precinct, district, and city assignment information
  • Election eligibility

A voter record can be accessed by searching the local Voter Focus database or FVRS. Search criteria can include the voter name, address, birth date, and driver's license number.
