Using Text Placeholders in the Voter Notification Email Template Used By the Address Change Service
When you customize the text that appears in the Address Change Service pages, you can use text placeholders in voter notification email template to personalize the information in the emais to include data specific to the current voter's record.
Using the [FirstName] [LastName] placeholders inserts the voter's first and last names in the email received by the voter.
Enter the text placeholder exactly as shown in the table below where you want that information to appear.

Voter's date of birth on file in FVRS. |
[DateRequested] |
Date the address change request is being submitted through the Address Change Service. |
[FirstName] |
Voter's first name on file in FVRS based on the search information provided. |
[LastName] |
Voter's last name currently on file in FVRS based on the search information provided. |
[PreviousMailingAddress] |
Voter's mailing address currently on file in FVRS. |
[PreviousResidenceAddress] |
Voter's residential address currently on file in FVRS. |
[RegistrationID] |
Voter's voter registration ID in FVRS. |
[UpdatedMailingAddress] |
The new mailing address submitted through the Address Change Service. If no changes were made to this address, the text No Changes displays. |
[UpdatedResidenceAddress] |
The new residence address submitted through the Address Change Service. If no changes were made to this address, the text No Changes displays. |
