Input Processor
The Input Processor program processes transactions received from EViD stations into county database records. This includes transactions received over the internet via the Web Messenger program and those from QLogs processed after the voting day.
A list of the transactions that Input Processor was unable to process can be seen on the EViD Exceptions dialog.
Input Processor must be running on a workstation with internet capabilities at the following times:
-
During early voting.
-
On election day.
-
After voting, until all QLogs have been processed and the EViD Exceptions report has been cleared.
VRScheduler will start Input Processor automatically for an election after a database export is performed for the election. The program will run continuously through and including Election Day. Input Processor should run until you have an empty EViD Exceptions report.
When Input Processor is not running, its button on the EViD console is red.
When Input Processor is running, its button has a normal appearance. Do not run more than one instance of Input Processor in your county.
Input Processor is not used for voter-outreach events.
