Set Up Voter Verify

Because voter information is accessed over the web, there’s no need for county IT staff to load a laptop with data and supporting software. Any laptop or other device with an internet connection and browser can access the eligibility information, with no setup required.

To protect the data from public access,poll workers must supply a county-issued user ID and password to log in. poll workers must enter the county’s user ID and password to log in. The county user ID and password are supplied by VR Systems.

The user ID tells Voter Verify which county has logged in, so it can display local voters with a green background, distinguishing them from out-of-county voters, which are displayed with a gray background.
