Detail Pay Register

Summary Pay Register

The Detail Pay Register is the payroll document signed by workers at their work location. It shows the various pay items earned by each worker and is a helpful tool for verifying that all pay items for the election are correct. The Summary Pay Register shows only the total pay for each worker; the pay amounts can be suppressed, if you prefer.

On both registers, workers are sorted by position; under each position they are listed alphabetically by last name. Positions are listed in the sort order defined on the Election Worker Position Maintenance dialog. See How to Produce a Pay Register for more information on these documents.

Payroll Costs Analysis

This report shows the total pay due for each pay item by precinct.

Preview Payroll Amounts

This report lists the payroll items that will be updated in the next Print Payroll Checks run. It shows you what each worker has earned this calendar year (Earned) and subtracts any payments made this year (Previous Payments), leaving you with an amount in the Due column, which will be the check amount. The left-most column—Location—indicates either the precinct polling place, early voting site, or election center location. Once checks have been printed, the report will be blank.

List of Misc Payments to Be Made

This report lists any miscellaneous checks that need to be printed. The list includes all miscellaneous checks, regardless of election.

Print Historical Check Register

Gives you a list of checks printed between two dates (inclusive) that you specify.

Payroll Export

This program is not normally run by counties that print their own checks; it is primarily used by counties that export the check-printing to another entity. The program is provided here to counties who might want to extract a spreadsheet (CSV file) of the checks they have written.
