Training Classes for Workers

To assign workers to training, you first need to create a database record for the training class they will be attending. The record contains such information as the class name, date and time, class length (in hours), location, maximum number of students, and class roster.

You can assign workers to the class, send letters to them, note who responded to class invitations, and record those who attended the class and their grades on testing. Class assignment and attendance information is reflected in worker records, so you can retrieve a worker's record and determine what kind of training they have had or are scheduled to have.

Training classes are organized into groups called class types. You must create a class type before you can create classes within that class type.
