Displaying the Windows Desktop

This Remote Tech Utility feature—like the same function in Tech Utilities—allows you to access and interact with the Windows Desktop without exiting out of and restarting Fast Voter Check-in.

To display the Desktop:

  1. In Remote Tech Utilities, click the Show Windows Desktop button in the Functions list. You will see the following box: Show_Windows_Desktop_box.png

  2. Click Yes to send the request to the EViD station. You will see the message "Waiting for EViD..." while the EViD user clicks Support Request and responds to the request on their side. When the Windows Desktop is displayed on the EViD station, you will see the message "Show of Windows Desktop successful."
