Canvassing Referral Sheet

The canvassing referral sheet is printed if a mail ballot envelope is being referred to the Canvassing Board for a decision on whether to accept the ballot. The reason for referral is on the sheet. The signature printed there is the signature held on the voter registration system as the reference signature for that voter.

Note that the voter's party appears only when the election is a primary.

When an overseas voter’s mail ballot is referred to the Canvassing Board, the note Overseas Voter appears below the Voter’s Mil/Civ Status field.
