Change the Dates for a Statewide Election
When you create a statewide election on your database, Voter Focus copies the election date, book closing, and party freeze dates from FVRS. Should the Division of Elections later make a change to one or more of these dates, you will need to synchronize the dates on your database with the new state dates.
Update the dates for a statewide election with new dates from FVRS:
- Ensure that the election is the focused election. If not, click Change Election Status on the Console and select the election.
- Go to ELECTIONS > Maintain Election Settings > Election Maintenance > Utilities.
- Click Update Dates from FVRS. The county dates on the Election Maintenance dialog will updated to reflect those of the state.
