About CallTrack
CallTrack is an interactive tool for staffers taking calls at elections help desks. Using CallTrack, you can record those calls where tracking and management of an issue has been reported. More than just a call-logging program, CallTrack extracts useful information from the Voter Focus database, information that can be used to manage the call efficiently. Information such as:
-
The location of a loading dock for delivery of equipment to a warehouse.
-
The name and number of a voting location's contact person in case the doors are locked when election workers need access.
-
The phone number of a election worker who hasn't reported to their polling place yet
-
A description and serial number of each piece of equipment assigned to a location.
Having such information at your fingertips as you record and assess issues lets you provide better information to callers and make better decisions about how issues might be handled.
In CallTrack, you prioritize each call according to the degree of urgency, and assign it a status of Open, Pending, or Resolved. The list of outstanding calls can then be sorted by priority, so you can manage the most urgent ones first. Once the issue prompting a call has been addressed, you can change the call's status to Resolved and opt to hide Resolved calls from the list. Calls can be sorted by other criteria, such as location or caller, to easily find a particular call. And you filter the outstanding-call list to show only those calls from a selected location.
Each call is associated with a place, which can be a precinct polling place, an early voting site, or an elections center, such as a warehouse. Only the precinct polling places voting in the focused election are available in CallTrack, so you won't have to sort through locations that aren't currently active.
CallTrack provides an onscreen status report summarizing calls by priority, time of day, location, and category, so managers can evaluate how things are going at any given time and identify problem areas proactively. The status report refreshes itself every 10 seconds, so you can be certain the information you are seeing is up to date.
CallTrack can be run only when the status of the focused election is Active and the precinct register has been generated or the election status is Return Processing Only and the current time is prior to midnight on Election Day.
