Remove Workers from a Class
These instructions assume you have created the class and assigned workers to it and now need to:
- remove one user for one or more classes
- remove one or more users from a single class
Depending on your objective, there are multiple ways this can be done.
To remove an individual worker from one or more classes:
- Go to ELECTION WORKERS > Worker Maintenance and find the worker you want to assign to the class.
- Click the School tab. The worker's current class and election assignments are shown in the event list.
- In the event list, locate the class you want to remove the worker from and click Remove Class Assignment.
- Repeat step 3 for each of the classes you want to remove the worker from.
- Click Save to save the class assignment in the worker's record. If this class is associated with an ELM System class type, students will no longer see the ELM System course when they log in to ELM System. This change can take up to one hour to appear.
To remove one or more workers from a single class:
- Go to ELECTION WORKERS > Train Workers and click the row for the class you want to remove worker(s) from.
- Click the Student List button. The list of workers currently assigned to the class appears in the Scheduled Student List field.
-
Click
on the worker you want to remove from the class and then click the
< arrow button.
To remove a group of workers, click the name of the first worker to be removed, hold down the SHIFT key, and then click the name of the last worker in the group to be removed. Once all names are highlighted, click the < arrow button. - In the Reschedule? dialog box, click Yes if you want to move the students to another class; click No if you do not.
- If you clicked Yes to move the students to another class, locate the class you want to move the workers to and then click OK.
- Click Close. If this class is associated with an ELM System class type, students will no longer see the ELM System course when they log in to ELM System. This change can take up to one hour to appear.
