Copy Content from Another Course
After you have created a new course, if desired, you can copy course content (course sections, test questions, and course resources) from an existing course to your new course.
This method is especially useful when you are offering several sessions of the same class for election workers, which are created in Voter Focus. After you have created the courses in Voter Focus, you can create content for one course and copy it to the other courses. This method can also be used for ELM Student courses as an alternative to using the Make a Copy feature.
If you copy content from one course into another course that already contains content, the copied content will be appended to the course. For example, if you copy content from Course A into Course B, the content from Course A will appear below any existing content in Course B.
- On the main menu, click Courses. (If you are currently working in another course, you will need to click Cancel first; then click Courses.)
- On the Courses page, double click the course you want to copy course content to.
- Click the Copy Content from Another Course button.
- In the Courses list, double click the course you want to copy content from.
- Verify the content was copied and then click Save or Save & Exit.
