Add an iFrame to a Course
Note: Because ELM is a secure site, we recommend you only
create iFrames of content stored on an HTTPS server.
- Select the training section where you want the video to appear.
- In the training section editor, position the cursor where you want the iframe to appear.
- Click the IFrame icon:
- On the IFrame Properties dialog, paste the URL to the video of the content you want to display in the URL field. An iframe to hold the content will appear in the editor.
- On the IFrame Properties dialog, you can adjust the presentation of the iFrame:
- The Width and Height values are measured in pixels.
- Use the Alignment field to position the iFrame in the training section. If you leave the value at <not set>, the iFrame will be positioned according to the alignment of the text paragraph where it's positioned.
- Select the Enable scrollbars check box if the content that appears in the iFrame is larger than the Width and Height value you specified.
- Select the Show frame border if you would like a border to appear around the iFrame in the training section.
- Enter a value in the Name field to set the HTML name attribute for the iFrame.
- Enter text in the Advisory Title field that you want to appear when the mouse hovers over the iFrame.
- If the content in the iFrame is available on another web page with additional information, and you want users to be able to click on the iFrame and visit that page, enter that URL in the Long Description URL field.
- Click OK to embed the iFrame.
- If you want to modify the properties of the iFrame, double-click on the video to return to the IFrame Properties dialog.
