EasyDNNmailChimp Plus

EasyDNNmailChimp is a DNN module that lets website visitors subscribe to and receive your newsletters and other materials. The first 2,000 subscribers are free to you. After the 2,000-subscriber limit, you will incur a fee. Click here for information on pricing.

To use EasyDNNmailChimp, your county must set up a MailChimp account before adding the EasyDNNmailChimp module to your website. There is no cost for this account. Then, after generating the required MailChimp API key, you can add the EasyDNNMailChimp module to your website. Click here for more about this DNN module.

  1. Go to https://login.mailchimp.com/signup?
  2. Enter an email address, user name, and password. An email will appear in the inbox of the address you entered, containing instructions on activating your account. After activation, you'll be asked to log in again using the user name and password you just created.

Within MailChimp, you will then need to generate an API key, which must be entered into the EasyDNNmailChimpmodule.

  1. Go to https://login.mailchimp.com/signup? and log in to MailChimp using the account you previously created.
  2. On the MailChimp Dashboard, click your profile name to expand the Account Panel.

  3. Click Account Settings > Create A Key.

  4. Copy the key to the clipboard or somewhere you can find it later.

Once you have created an account and API key, you should then create a list in MailChimp.

  • On the MailChimp Dashboard, click Lists > Create List, and follow the prompts to create the list.

Then you can add the DNN module to your website and enter the API key.

  1. Hover over the pencil icon and click API-key Settings.

  2. Enter the API key and save it.
