the "Fab Four"

They are programs that must be running for your Voter Focus system to communicate with the outside world. They should be run from the Voter Focus server machine, not from a user workstation. Only one instance of each of the Fab Four programs should be running on your county system at a time.

FVRS Communications

These three members of the Fab Four handle communications with FVRS. They are run from the VOTER FOCUS ADMIN tab on the Console. Each must be started individually by clicking its associated button:

Background Jobs

A fourth member of the Fab Four—VRScheduler—supports the scheduling of background jobs set up by VR Systems. It should be running whenever your county is running Voter Focus. To start VRScheduler, click its button on the Console:

If VRScheduler is not running, its console button will be red.
