Voter Application Form

To access: VOTER REGISTRATION > Application Forms> {voter} > Search or Application Search.

Use the Application dialog to:

  • Enter voter registration applications into the county system. Voter status will be ZZ(Z), Pending State Verification after registering a complete and new voter. This means the application is awaiting verification of the driver license or last four digits of the Social Security number. After verification, TEAM returns (via the TEAM Interface import) one of the following:
    •  The event type 99 that automatically sets the voter's status to 1 (A), Active Voter and schedules a Voter Certificate in the Notices Queue.
    •  A TDL, SSN, or Decease Verification Failure in the Task Notification Queue making the record incomplete. Go to the Queue to take the appropriate action to process the record.
  • Change data on existing voter records when the information is submitted on an application (NVRA or FPCA) form. Such data might include a change of residential address, or a name change.

While viewing an application for an existing voter, you can retrieve a read-only view of the voter's maintenance record—including Ballot By Mail, voting history, and eligibility information—by clicking the Voters icon on the toolbar:

Tip: Before clicking the Voters button, on the application toolbar, click Utility and select Display Voter Information Dialog in Separate Window. This allows you to view the application and the read-only voter information side-by-side.
