How to Cure ABBM Records

After processing ABBM requests, applications and ballots that are found to be defective are moved to the Cure ABBM Queue. From this queue you are able to fix, or "cure", these records one by one. The Cure ABBM Queue dialog shows both applications and ballots that require curing.

Important:
  • Rejecting an application does not move the application to the Cure ABBM Queue. Rejected applications can not be cured.
  • If it is 11 days or less before an election, the Process button will be active whether or not a cure has been provided for an application.
  • If it is 6 days or more after an election, the Process button will be active whether or not a cure has been provided for a ballot.
  • If a voter submits a correctly filled out ABBM application after a defective one, the previous defective application will be removed from the Cure ABBM Queue when the correct one is processed. This change will be noted in the voter's record.

Updates to Ballot By Mail, such as curing records, can be seen in a voter's record in the Ballot By Mail tab.
