TEAM Event Types, Cancellation Codes, and Change Codes

The tables below show the association of the event types, cancellation codes, and change codes to the specific option(s) that each is set by in Voter Focus. The event types and codes are then added to the Voter Import file that is created by the Export Voter Data for TEAM process.

The corresponding statuses in Voter Focus are also listed for each cancellation code.

FPCA

  • Note: Nothing is recorded in the Voter Import file for FPCA voters who are U.S. citizens living outside the country and who have never resided in the United States. These voters are not eligible for voter registration or ballot delivery.

The reasons for cancellation below are entered in the Voter Import file along with the corresponding event type. For example, cancellation code 14 for a duplicate record cancellation is entered with event type 4, Duplicate Resolved.
