Produce Supplements to Precinct Registers
Because precinct registers are typically produced

Supplements contain each voter who meets the criteria required for a precinct register and whose name does not appear on the original register. Supplements also include voters who were included on the original register, provided they are still eligible to vote in the election. Certain changes made to those voters since the original register was generated are reflected in the supplement.
New voters not included in the previously generated register and with the following criteria are added to the list when generating a supplement:
- An Active (A), Suspense (I), or FPCA 90(F) status.
- An EDR that is on or before the date that is set in Election Maintenance for Election Date. The EDR respects the 30 days prior to election day deadline because it is calculated as 30 days from the Registration Date.
- For Primary elections, a party affiliation that matches the party that is assigned to the election
For voters previously listed in the register and whose status remains Active (A), Suspense (I), or FPCA 90(F) and, for Primary elections, whose party matches the election's party, the following changes are reflected in the supplement:
- Voter name — Change not reflected when voter's Registration Date is after the Election Date (EDR value must still be before Election Date)
- Date of birth — Change not reflected when voter's Registration Date is after the Election Date (EDR value must still be before Election Date)
- Registration number — Change not reflected when voter's Registration Date is after the Election Date (EDR value must still be before Election Date)
- Voter's residence address — Change not reflected when voter's Registration Date is after the Election Date (EDR value must still be before Election Date)
- FPCA ballot mailed
- ID Required to Vote check box — When selected, affects the status text (see below)
- Voted Early
- Voted Absentee
- Voted Provisional
- Status changes from or to:
- Active (A) to Suspense (I)
- Suspense (I) to Active (A)
- Precinct
- Ballot style
- Privacy Voter check box — When selected, address information is hidden
- Status text indicating required forms (such as ID Required or Statement of Residence Required) and voting history (such as Voted Provisional, or Voted Early)
The following voters are removed from the list:
- Active or Suspense voters who were changed to an Ineligible (P) status.
- For Primary elections, voter's whose party no longer matches the election's party.
Supplements are organized by precinct. When you print, you will have the option of selecting the precincts for which you want to print supplements. If there are no changes in a precinct, a supplement will not be printed. When precincts are combined for an election, the changes for all the member precincts are collected in a single supplement under the major precinct.
The information contained in a supplement and the format in which it is printed depend on the settings of three options in VOTER FOCUS ADMIN > System Options > Prec Reg/Elctns.
Depending on how you want to generate and print your supplements, you can turn off all three options, select them all, or select a combination of options. The boxes here show the possible combination of options you can use.

- Go to ELECTIONS > Maintain Election Settings.
- Click the Book Closing tab.
- Click Generate Supplement.
- Go to the Generic Pollbook tab.
- Click Pollbook Export.
To learn more, see Export Pollbook Data.

- First, generate the precinct supplements (see above).
- Go to ELECTIONS > Print Registers.
- Select Register Supplement for Specified Precincts.
- Click Print Register and, if needed, the applicable precincts.
You can do this for one or more precincts. You can limit the changes in the supplement to those made since a previous supplement was printed by selecting the date of the previous supplement in the Print On and After field. Leave the field blank to print all changes to the register.
Regardless of the date option on this dialog, only those voters with an EDR on or before the Election Date (set in Election Maintenance) will be included in the supplement.
