Replace a Voter's Voter Information Card
Should a voter request a replacement for their voter information card, the procedure to replace the card depends on how the request was made.

Handle the request as you would a name,
address

The steps you take depend on your county's policy. If your county treats a phone call or in-person request in the same way as a written communication, go to Requested via a written communication from the voter, below. If your county issues a card without recording the request as a communication from the voter, take these steps:
- Go to VOTER REGISTRATION > Voter Maintenance and retrieve the voter's record.
- On the Maint tab, click Printing. The Schedule Document Printing dialog appears.
- To print the voter information card now:
- If the Voter Card application is not already running, go to PRINTING > Voter Card and start it.
- On the Schedule Document Printing dialog in the voter's record, click Voter Card.
- To schedule the document for printing later from the Notices Queue, highlight Voter ID Card in the Notice Type column, and then click Schedule Document for Printing.

- Go to VOTER REGISTRATION > Voter Maintenance and retrieve the voter's record.
- On the Maint tab, click Voter Response. The Voter Response dialog appears.
- Select the Communication Type that most closely identifies the voter's communication with your office. Click OK.
- Save the change.
If you made other changes to the voter's record affecting information on the voter information card, Voter Focus schedules a voter information card in the Notices Queue.
If you prefer to print the card now:
- If the Voter Card application is not already running, go to PRINTING > Voter Card and start it.
- On the voter's Maint tab, click Printing.
- On the Schedule Document Printing dialog, click Voter Card. The card prints and the notice is removed from the Notices Queue.
If no changes were made to the voter's record other than creation of the voter response, a new card will not be scheduled automatically. To print the card:
- On the Maint tab, click Printing. The Schedule Document Printing dialog appears.
- Do one of the following:
- Print now
- If the Voter Card application is not already running, go to PRINTING > Voter Card and start it.
- On the Schedule Document Printing dialog in the voter's record, click Voter Card.
- Print later. To schedule the document for printing later from the Notices Queue, highlight Voter ID Card in the Notice Type column, and then click Schedule Document for Printing.
