Determine if a Voter is Eligible to Vote in an Election
There are several ways to check a voter's eligibility:
- Go to VOTER REGISTRATION > Voter Maintenance and access the voter's record.
- Click the Elections tab. You'll see a list of upcoming elections whose status is Active as well as past elections in which the voter has voted. (Upcoming elections with the Open status do not appear.)
- Refer to the Status/History column and check for the presence of Eligible for upcoming elections.
Go to EARLY VOTING > Early/Counter Voting and access the voter.
- If there are multiple elections whose current status is Active, you will be asked to choose an election before you see the voter's information.
- If the voter is not eligible to vote in the election, you will see a comment in large type such as this:
- If the voter is eligible to vote, this area of the dialog will be blank.
Voter Verify is web-based service that gives authorized users inquiry-only access to statewide voter eligibility information from smartphones and other internet-enabled devices. For more information, see Find a Voter in Voter Verify.

Voter Eligibility Information |
Go to ELECTIONS > Phone Bank and access the voter.
The Phone Bank program shows voter eligibility in elections whose current status is Active. Any remarks pertaining to the voter's eligibility will be in large letters. If the voter is eligible to vote in the election(s), this area of the dialog will be blank or, if precinct registers have been generated, their location in the register(s) will be noted.
The eligibility box has limited space on the dialog and so might not be able to show all information for the voter. If it looks like the box is full, click inside the box to display of the complete eligibility information.
