Voter Registration Form
A resident of your county can fill out the Florida Voter Registration Application form on your website, then print out and sign the form before sending it to your office.
Data entered by the applicant is automatically downloaded to your county's voter registration database.
When the signed application arrives in the mail, elections staff simply retrieves the voter’s pre-filled application by going to VOTER REGISTRATION > Application Forms, enters the Web ID from the printed form, and continues the registration process from there, without having to key in the voter’s information from the form.
Voter data submitted via the form is transferred to Voter Focus every ten minutes by the VR Systems program Renew Voter Focus (RenewVR).
Once a registration form is submitted, the form is entered into the voter registration system with the status of Incomplete. The voter must then print out the completed form, sign it, and deliver it to the elections office. Forms printed from the website have a Web ID. To find the voter's application, enter the Web ID into the Last Name field on the Find a Voter dialog and click Application Search. The Web Registration Status Report lists voters who have registered in this manner, along with their Web IDs.
If the applicant is a new voter, the record will convert to Pending status until their driver license, Florida ID, or social security number is verified. For existing voters, their status will be Active.
This report lists voters who registered to vote during a specified time period using the registration form on your website. When you run the report, you are asked to specify a start and end date for the registration period. You have the option of omitting registrations that were successfully processed and only showing applications that are pending.
Each application from the website has a unique Web ID, which is shown on the report. To display a voter's application, go to VOTER REGISTRATION > Application Forms, enter their Web ID in the Last Name field of the Find a Voter dialog, and click Application Search.
In Voter Focus, go to REPORTING > Reports > Voter Reports > Registration Activity > Web Registration Status Report
