About Voting Locations and Statuses
The Voting Locations and Statuses module lets voters find early voting sites and check the wait times at each location. They can also select their preferred language, and site content will be translated using Google Translator.
To log into the Voting Locations and Statuses page, you will need to sign in using your VR Passport login to access VR Web Console by going to:
https://www.vrwebconsole.com/
When you log in to VR Passport, click VR Tower - Voting Locations And Statuses. This takes you to the VLS election page showing the default election.
Overview
During early voting, the VLS module provides voters with a wealth of information.
Each address of an early voting site links to a Google map pinpointing the place. There’s also a map showing all early voting sites around the county, with colored pins indicating estimated wait times representing each location on the map. Voters can click on a pin to see more information about the location, such as the address and office hours.
Voting Locations and Statuses is fully responsive, and will update according to the device the voter is using to access the module. If a voter has Location Service activated on their device, they will also have the ability to:
- Locate the nearest polling place location in relation to their current location.
- Sort polling place locations by distance from their current location. Additionally, polling places can be sorted by wait time and name.
- Get directions from their location to a selected polling place location.
If a user is unable to find a polling location, Voting Locations and Statuses has an intuitive search feature that allows the user to search for their polling place.
The header at the top of the Voting Locations and Statuses page will change depending on where you are in the election cycle:

When early voting is over, website visitors can still access a list of early voting locations, a map to each location, and the map showing all locations.

Early Voting Locations
The Voting Locations and Statuses module displays the early voting location data from the Voter Focus database.
Status and Wait Times at Early Voting Locations
Wait times on the Early Voting web site are updated by workers at the voting site or by an elections official at the Supervisor’s office so voters can see the latest information. Wait times can be updated in VR Tower or from an EViD King station at a voting site.
Administrator's can also update each early voting location to let voters know when a location is open or closed.
Tasks Overview
The Voting Locations and Statuses module is easy to set up and use, but there are a few tasks that must be completed at various stages of an election to ensure voters see the most up-to-date accurate information.
One Time Setup
You can add the Voting Locations and Statuses status to your website, and because the page header dynamically updates based on the stage of the election cycle, there is no need to remove it.
