Change Mode (Election Day Only)
This feature lets you switch the two user modes of Fast Voter Check-in: Inspector mode and Clerk mode.
This capability is also available in the Remote Utilities program.
To switch
the EViD station between Clerk or Inspector mode:
On the Tech Utilities dialog, touch Change Mode. The following message appears
Note: The
dialog text is slightly different if you are changing from Inspector to
Clerk mode.
Touch Yes if you want to change to the mode indicated. Touch No to return to the Tech Utilities dialog.
If you selected Yes, the EViD will be configured to use the new mode. You are then returned to the Home Screen dialog.
