Signature Pad Issues
The EViD system only uses the following signature pad:
Has a long rectangular screen.
No contrast wheels.
All problems with signature pads.
If you are encountering any problems using the signature pad, first try touching the Reset Sigpad option on the Toolbar menu from the More button on the Home Screen dialog. This will restart the signature pad application.
Most issues with the signature pad are resolved using the Reset Sigpad option. The sections below contain additional troubleshooting tips regarding the use of the signature pads.
The signature pad screen is blank and no signature line is displayed.
Follow these steps:
If unplugging the signature pad and plugging in the USB cable to another available USB port and pressing Reset Sigpad does not resolve the problem, you have a faulty signature pad.
The display on signature pad is correct but there is no response to the stylus.
Follow the steps below:

Touch the Reset Sigpad button on the Toolbar menu from the More button on the Home Screen dialogue and try again.

Unplug the signature pad from the USB port, reinsert the plug, then try the Reset Sigpad button on the Toolbar menu from the More button on the Home Screen dialogue.

Restart the EViD station.
If all the above steps fail to resolve the issue, you have a faulty signature pad.
Signature pad had worked correctly but is now blank.
This occurs when the EViD station stops detecting the signature pad or was unplugged and plugged back in. Try resetting the signature pad as described above.
