Extract Database Information for Voter Outreach Events

The first step in the process of setting up your EViD station for Voter Outreach mode is performing the export of information from the county database that the EViD stations will use when accessing voter records. This information includes a listing of all possible known addresses for the county, all registered voters, regardless of status, and persons whose voter registration application is pending HSMV verification.

  1. Run Voter Focus and go to EViD >Database Export.

Note: If Web Messenger is not running, you will see a warning message when you run Database Export. This message can be ignored because Web Messenger is not required for voter outreach tasks.

  1. On the EViD Database Export dialog, select Voter Outreach.

  2. Click Export to begin the export process. Two MS-DOS boxes will appear during the process. When you see a message indicating the export is complete, click Exit to finish the process.

You are now ready to create an activator image for voter outreach.
