Load an Activator onto an EViD Station

The next step in the process is to load the voting image—for early voting or election day—onto the EViD stations. As we mentioned earlier, it is not necessary that each station have its own activator. You can use the same activator to prepare multiple EViDs for voting.

To load the voting image on an EViD station:

1. Power on the EViD station.

2. Insert the early voting or election day activator. Fast Voter Check-in starts automatically, prints a start-up ticket, and ask you to enter your initials.

3. When startup is complete, the Swipe Driver License screen will appear. This indicates that the EViD station is ready to check in voters.

4. Remove the voting activator from the EViD station.
